Precision Tech Bench uses SMS (text message) communications to provide timely, relevant updates to our customers in connection with device repairs, technology education classes, service appointments, and promotional offers. Our messaging program is designed to improve the customer experience by keeping you informed throughout the repair or service process and alerting you to relevant deals and class opportunities at PTB.

2. CUSTOMER MESSAGING CONSENT ACQUISITION
Precision Tech Bench would like to use SMS to confirm customer repair and service appointments, to communicate class schedules and enrollment details for the Computer Familiarization Program, to deliver repair status notifications and pickup alerts, and for general customer support and promotional communications.
How We Obtain Consent
PTB collects your consent to receive text messages at the time of service intake, class enrollment, or via our website. Consent may be provided in any of the following ways:
•   Checking the opt-in checkbox on our paper or digital service intake form at the time of drop-off
•   Checking the opt-in checkbox during online class registration or appointment scheduling
•   Verbally indicating consent at the counter, followed by a written or digital acknowledgment
By providing your mobile phone number and consenting to receive messages, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Precision Tech Bench. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase or enrollment in any PTB program.
Withdrawing Consent (Opt-Out)
You may withdraw your consent and opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from PTB. Upon receipt of your STOP request, we will promptly remove your number from our active messaging list. Requesting Help

When a customer opts in to receive SMS messages from PTB, they will receive a confirmation message in the following format:

4. OPT-OUT MESSAGE
When a customer opts out of SMS communications by replying STOP, they will receive the following confirmation message:

If a customer texts HELP to our messaging number, they will receive the following automated response:

The following is an example of a promotional message PTB may send to customers who have opted in to receive marketing communications:

Precision Tech Bench collects personal information — including your name, phone number, email address, and device/service details — solely for the purposes of providing repair services, education programs, and related communications.
